Air roasting, also called fluid-bed roasting, uses a stream of hot air to lift, circulate and roast coffee beans. Keeping the beans moving helps distribute heat evenly and carries away chaff, the light skin released during roasting. Tribe Coffee uses this method at our Vero Beach roastery.
Coffee questions answered
The moving air keeps beans circulating throughout the roast, helping distribute heat and energy evenly. It gives the roaster immediate control over of the energy transfer and how the coffee develops. The beans, roast level and brewing method shape the flavor in your cup.
We currently ship within the United States. Available shipping methods, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout before you pay. We cover the cost of shipping on orders over $50 (eligible areas). Carrier rates at checkout.
Freshly roasted in Vero Beach. Orders are generally processed within one business day. Delivery estimates begin once your order ships, not when you order.
Keep coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. For whole-bean coffee, grind only what you need just before brewing. Coffee can also be frozen in a bag, with all the air drawn out of prior to freezing.
